Advertisement for a project staff position (Research Assistant and Field Investigator)

Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate to work on the research project titled, titled "Evolutionary Traces in Indian Language and Linguistic Tradition"  funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) under the supervision of Dr. Somdev Kar (Dept of HSS, IIT Ropar).

Number of Positions:Research Assistant: ONE (01); Field Investigator: TWO (02)

Duration:09 months for Research Assistant; 04 months for Field Investigator

Monthly Emoluments:  Research Assistant: ₹37,000 (consolidated)#;Field Investigator:₹20,000 (consolidated)#

#depending upon qualifications and experienceas per ICSSR Norms.

Essential Qualifications:

For  Research  Assistant:  Postgraduate  in  Linguistics  or  allied  Social  Science  disciplines (minimum 55% marks) with NET/ MPhil/PhD
