ASSISTANT PROFESSOR GRADE-II (PAY LEVEL 10)

Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) Surat is established by the Government of India by an Act of Parliament, offering undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and doctoral programs in engineering, technology, and the sciences. The institute invites applications for the post  of  Assistant  Professor  Grade-II (Pay level  10)  in the following departments of the Institute from Indian nationals fulfilling eligibility criteria, possessing excellent academic  records,  commitment  to  quality  teaching  and  research,  and  a  propensity  for institutional development.

The minimum educational qualifications and desirable areas of specialization in the departments are given in Annexure II, which is available on the institute's website. However, the Institute reserves the right to select/ consider any other area of specialization and adopt suitable process for screening of candidates for interview. The candidates applying under OBC (NCL)/ EWS category has to produce the valid certificate issued on . The candidate appeared for interview before the selection committee for the post of Assistant Professor (Grade-II) in the Department of Computer Sciences and Engineering/ Department of Artificial Intelligence on two or more times against the advertisements  need not apply again against this advertisement.
