The Chennai City Urban Health Mission proposes to engage following staff to Centre of Excellence –Genetic Lab at located in the Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children at Egmore, Chennai on contractual basis. The details of vacancies and minimum educational qualification are given below:
Conditions of recruitment
• Place of work will be in Centre of Excellence –Genetic Lab at located in the Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children at Egmore, Chennai
• Contract Period is for 11 months only and it is purely on temporary basis.
• The candidate shall not claim any rights for permanency in the contractual job. The employer is Chennai City Urban Health Mission.
• The Chennai City Urban Health Mission Administration reserves the right not to specify any reason for such termination.
The application format can be freely downloaded from the website List of documents to be produced by the Candidates at the time of verification.
Candidates will be submit one set of self attested photocopies of the following certificates/documents with two recent passport size color photograph.
1. Evidence of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate / SSLC / HSC certificate).
2. Proof of residency (any one document Mandatory):
a. Voter ID
b. Aadhar Card c. Ration Card
d. Phone bill/EB bill
3. Community Certificate issued by the Revenue Department / Competent Authority
4. Educational Qualification,
5. Certified evidence for work experience.
6. No objection certificate from the competent authority (if applicable).
7. Any other special records of significance from competent authorities as indicated in the selection criteria mentioned.
Other Terms and Conditions
a) In case of selection, the contract appointment will be subject to medical fitness and verification of character and antecedents.
b) The selected candidates will have to join duty immediately or on the date indicated in the offer of appointment within 3 working days.
c) An absence from work for a period of five days without prior permission of the competent authority will amount to voluntary abandonment of engagement and may result in automatic termination.
d) Once recruited/contracted for a above posts, prior notice of 30 days is mandatory for resignation.

The Shortlisted Candidates will be called for interview later. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview. The selected candidates need to enter into an agreement with Chennai City Urban Health Mission.
