       ADVERTISEMENT FOR SECURITY OFFICER AND ASSISTANT SECURITY OFFICER ON                                                                     CONTRACT BASIS

Applications in prescribed format from eligible Indian Nationals are invited for the following cadres on contractual basis. Interested candidates are requested to send hard copy.

1. SECURITY OFFICER

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA : 

 Bachelor degree from a recognized university/Institute which 5 years’  experience  in  supervising  position  in  Army/Central paramilitary forces in Govt organization/ Educational / Private Organization.

 Preference will be given to the persons who have served in the Army/Central paramilitary Forces or such uniformed services and possessing a valid Arms License

Physical fitness Certificate as per the Armed forces standard.

                                  Age: Not exceeding 50 Years

                        SALARY : ₹ 30,000.00 (thirty thousand) per month fixed

2. ASSISTANT SECURITY OFFICER

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: 

10 +2 qualification from a recognized college/Institute which 5 years’  experience   in   supervising   position   in   Army/Central paramilitary forces in Govt organization/ Educational / Private

Organization. Preference will be given to the persons who have served in the Army/Central paramilitary Forces or such uniformed services and

possessing a valid Arms License. Physical fitness Certificate as per the Armed forces standard 

                                  Age : Not exceeding 45 Years

                         SALARY : ₹ 28,000.00 (thirty thousand) per month fixed

GENERAL INFORMATION

1. All Qualification and Experience will be recognized as on 21-04-2025.

2. The  appointment  will  be  initially  for  6  (six)  months  and  may  be  extended  subject  to satisfactory performance.

3.The institute reserves right to cancel the recruitment without assigning any reason thereof.

4. The number of posts depends on requirement of the institute. The Institute reserves the right not to fill any or all the posts advertised and to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason.

5. The prescribed qualification and experience are minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to appear for interview.

6. Canvassing in any manner would entail disqualification of the candidature.

7. Legal disputes, if any, will be restricted within the jurisdiction of Silchar Court only.

8. The decision of the Institute in all matters will be final. No correspondence /interim inquiries will be entertained from the candidates in connection with the process of selection.

9.Candidates who will appear for interview will have to produce original documents (along with self-attested photocopy of each) in support of all the particulars mentioned in their application form along with 2 passport size photographs.

10.Residential accommodation will be provided, subject to availability.

11.No TA/DA will be paid to attend the selection process.

d. Select the Name of the institution as “Online Fee collection account NIT Silchar”

e. Select the payment category as “Recruitment_Contract_2025”

f.  Fill the necessary fields.

2. The application along with the relevant documents (self attested) (viz educational qualification, experience certificate, Age proof certificate, Pension Payment Order etc.) & transaction slip for the fees deposited should be sent to “The Assistant Registrar, Establishment Section, National Institute of Technology Silchar, Silchar, Assam ”.

3. Last date of receipt of  applications received after the due date will not be considered & NIT Silchar will not be responsible for any postal delay.
