VACANCY ADVERTISEMENT

Eligible candidates are invited to apply for the post of Project Nurse – III ( 01 Post) and Project Technical Support-III ( 01 Post) funded under Indian Council of Medical Research for a ICMR Project entitled “Fabrication of artificial intelligence-enabled 2D-MXenes based label-free electrochemical immunosensor for detection of CA15-3, a novel biomarker for breast cancer." under Dr. Kushal Gupta, Asoociate Professor, Department of Medical Oncology & Haematology, AIIMS Kalyani.

The project details, essential qualifications, experience, consolidated salary and service tenure are as under:

B) Project Technical Support- III: 

• Candidates who have previous working experience in similar field are encouraged to apply. Those who have worked in similar projects will be given preference.

•  Selected candidates have to work directly under the Principal Investigator / Co-Principal Investigator at Department of Medical Oncology & Hematology, AIIMS, Kalyani.

•  The above posts are to be filled purely on a contractual basis for a period of 6 months Initially for

12 months but can be extendable upto 36 months (on yearly contractual basis), depending on work performance, as assessed yearly by PI/Co-PI at AIIMS Kalyani.

SELECTION PROCESS:

1. Eligible candidates should out the attached application form. Interested candidates who fulfill the above eligibility criteria are requested to fill in  the application along with their detailed CVs .

2. The last date of application submission through  will be within 15 days of the advertisement notice on the institute webpage (up to 5 PM. of that 15th day including all holidays). Any application received after the stipulated time and deadline as mentioned above will not be considered.

3. The shortlisted Candidates will be published on AIIMS Kalyani before the interview. AIIMS Kalyani will not send any individual intimation to applicants. Candidates are hence requested to follow up recruitment notices on the website periodically.

4. The shortlisted candidates will be notified for screening written test and/or interview based on numbers of applications being received, the date and venue of these test/interview will be published on the AIIMS Kalyani after the last date of application submission. Candidates should check on website for date of test/interview or any fresh announcement.

5. The test/interview will be conducted offline only (at AIIMS Kalyani). No TA/DA will be paid for attending the same.

6. Candidates should bring two photocopies of the application form and supporting documents along with original documents and a valid photo ID card (Adhaar Card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card) for verification during the test/interview.

7. The decision of the Selection Committee appointed by the Executive Director, AIIMS Kalyani, will be final, and no representation in any manner will be entertained in this regard. Applications incomplete in any aspect will be summarily rejected, and no intimations/requests will be made to the candidate. Candidates who will be called for the final interview will be based on the complete discretion of the Selection Committee, and no individual intimations will be given/sent to the candidate in this regard.

8. Results will be published on AIIMS Kalyani  after the selection process is over and will be e-mailed to the selected candidate.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Disqualification: The candidates are responsible for ascertaining and ensuring their eligibility as per the prescribed qualification and experience. If any declaration given or information furnished by  him/her proves false  or  if  he/she is  found to  have  will fully suppressed any  material or information, he/she will be liable for removal from service and such other action as the Government/ ICMR may deem necessary. Even after qualifying in the selection process, the candidate may be disqualified during document verification if he/she does not fulfill essential eligibility criteria. Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.

2. Tenure: These are tenure vacancies under funded project and are not employment on AIIMS Kalyani pay roll. The assignments are purely on a contract basis for a period of 12 months (which can be extended to a maximum of 3 years (36 months) based on performance and funding availability). These appointments will not vest any right to claim by the candidate for regular appointment or permanent absorption in AIIMS, Kalyani/ICMR, or continued contractual appointment. Employment will automatically terminate upon completion of the project and there is no liability for permanent employment on AIIMS Kalyani or under Principal Investigator. Also, the candidates have no right to claim permanent employment at AIIMS(Kalyani) or ICMR, based on this job.

3. Expiry of Contract: The contract will automatically expire on completion of the stipulated time or earlier  in  case  of  withdrawal of  support  by  the  funding  agency,  whichever  is  earlier. The contractual appointment can be terminated at any time by either side by giving 30 days' notice or salary in lieu thereof.

4.  Leave: The leave entitlement of the appointee shall be governed by the ICMR leave policy as amended from time to time.

5.  Accommodation: The institute will not provide hostel or other accommodations to  selected

candidates.

6.  The prescribed essential qualification is minimum and merely possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection.

9.  The appointment is full-time, and private practice of any type is discouraged.

10. He/she is expected to conform to the rules of conduct and discipline applicable to the institute employees.

11. The Selection Committee reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation and changes to this advertisement as a whole or in part without giving any reason or notice.

13. No other allowance/facilities/benefits to successful candidates, other than the consolidated salary, shall be admissible.

14. All disputes will be subjected to the jurisdiction of the Courts at Kolkata.
