Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

School of Biomedical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the following positions for the research project funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), titled “NSF-DST CPS TTP RE-GAIN: An Adaptive, Medical CPS Platform Integrating E-Textile Wearables, Virtual/Augmented Reality, and AI for Stroke Rehabilitation” IIT (BHU) , for three years. The details are as follows:


Application Procedure

Interested candidates can apply for the position by filling their details and uploading required documents through google form available at following application.

Candidates must upload their Curriculum Viète (CV) and scanned copy of the following documents in a single pdf:

1. Degree certificates with final mark sheets

2. Proof of date of birth of the candidate

3. Caste certificate if applicable

4. GATE/NET scorecard if applicable

5. Additional proficiency certificates if applicable

General terms and conditions:

1. Candidates selected are expected to join immediately.

2. The candidate may have the chance to pursue Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering while serving as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the School of Biomedical Engineering at IIT (BHU), Varanasi.

3. The principal investigator has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit based on qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.

4. Only short-listed candidates will be communicated to appear in the interview, and no other communications in this regard will be entertained.

5. Original certificates and self-attested copies of all certificates need to be presented before the interview for verification.

6. No TA/DA will be paid if called for interview.

7. Selected candidates will have the opportunity for short-term visits to project collaborators' labs at the
University of Rhode Island, USA, and IIT Gandhinagar, India.
